After some technical help, I was able to successfully add my del.icio.us. Now I have access to lots more websites for lighthouses and other information at the touch of a button.
This exercise used up quite a few brain cells but in the end I was successful. Now I can find information about traveling to visit lighthouses and finding a place to stay. I can find books with lots of interesting information at the touch of a button right from my own blog.
Today, I also set up my account in LibraryThing and started my library. The first title that I added was a favorite by Nicholas Sparks, "True Believer".
Finally after a long absence, I have completed one more small step by creating an RSS feed that links me to thousand of sites for people who like lighthouses. Now I can find pictures and information very easily. Here is a photo of Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia. (This is one I recently visited.)
After looking around some of the third party sites, I found a lot of interesting things. I like the mashups but have not quite figured out how to use them. Hopefully, I can add some more information to my blog using this tool.
I pulled this picture from Flickr. This is a very interesting website but not as easy as to navigate as it might first appear. But I think with a little practice, I might get the hang of it. So maybe I'll add some more lighthouse information at a later date.
